Time for a change? A BIG change?

In 2010, Bionicle was discontinued, and Hero Factory was launched.  I was sad for the loss of an old stalwart, but happy to see that I'd be able to use my mountain of parts towards a fresh new use with a lot of future potential.  I happily adapted and hopped on the new bandwagon.

Now, it's still 2010, and second series of Hero Factory sets have been fully unveiled.  These, for better or worse, are vastly more different from even the earlier-in-the-year series than the first HF sets were from Bionicle before them.  Suddenly, a great portion of my mountain of parts is looking quite lonely and behind the times.  I'm not so sure I'll be adapting this time.  Instead, I'm very, very seriously considering making a very, very different move within the LEGO omniverse.

What do you think, should I do it?  Should I pull the trigger?

  1. Dear Jang,
I've been following your MOCs since early 2010. I've always liked your MOCs, how they were creative, unique, and inspiring. you've inspired me to create my own MOCs and storyline. i do NOT think you should go into system. the 2.0 are therible, but you shouldn't sell your MOCs and pieces. please contiunue with your MOCs.

  2. i agree. this ball joint connection system is probably just a passing fad. such as the rubber inika masks, and light up weapons. Besides the villains still have plenty of the "traditional connections". maybe you should just moc more villains then heros? besides you are a huge inspiration to people....dont throw in the towel just yet.

  3. If you are going to give up, your just like Lego. No, that was not a compliment. You, in my opinion, are better at MOCmaking than Kylernuva135, and THAT is saying something. You have so many parts, so much variety, and you are just GIVING UP?! If I had that many pieces, I would never stop. I could make something life-sized, probably more. I'm not you, so it's your choice, your Bionicles And Heros. But if you are going to give up, it will hurt in the morning.
