I just stumbled upon this looking at bionicle MOCs and I must say.. I'm astonished by the balance you found between the classic Toa Nuva pieces and newer pieces.
It makes me wonder what would've happened if LEGO company had re-booted the bionicle line using this type of building style. It would be amazing. It's modern, yet it has the same epic feel the Toa Nuva had. (None of that issue where the figures got taller and taller over time)
